Extraction Method: In this method, hot sunflower oil is lightly sprinkled over Shikakai pods and left to soak for a few days. This soaking allows natural fermentation to release the beneficial compounds from Shikakai, which are gradually absorbed by the carrier oil. The mixture is then distilled to produce the final oil. The end formulation contains around 15–20% carrier oil and 80–85% Shikakai extract, known for its cleansing and strengthening properties for hair and scalp.
